NEW PAIN ISSUES AND HELP WITH CHIROPRACTIC
As stated by the American Chiropractic Association, our Richmond chiropractic patients are not alone! Chiropractic patients across the country are describing some new pain issues with their neck, shoulders, and upper back during COVID experience, particularly those who wear masks for long hours. Certainly, stress is a contributing factor to pain in normal times. In these times, it’s no wonder that patients are reporting more pain. Masks may well add to pain in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. Masks may impact vision. If a mask sits too high, the wearer may tuck the chin to see more clearly or hold the neck in an awkward way to see more clearly. A better fitting mask may help. More frequent breaks may be of benefit. Stretching more often may help. A walk to de-stress is a terrific option! (5) Your Richmond chiropractor understands these issues and is ready to help!
